Green Initiatives

 

Our service exceeds that of our competition for one simple reason: responsibility. We act swiftly and responsibly for not only the internal problem such as repairing the technology, but also the external issues such as end-user education or best application of technology for the customer's business.

This approach also applies to our view of environmental responsibility. We have worked to not only streamline and refine our internal business processes to be ecologically friendly, but also are working to make our customer recommendations as 'green' as possible.
Our Green Initiative is simple.
  • Internal Practices and Policies This includes changes INSIDE our company - recycling, ensuring equipment is powered off, use of non-disposable products, etc.

  • Customer Services This includes virtualization, UPS battery recycling, managed power settings, Energy Star rated equipment, etc.

  • External Certification A way for DLC to show that an independent organization says we are on the right track.

  • Governance and Enforcement Ensures that all the policies and changes are truly followed and our roadmap to Green Certification always has momentum.
In order to help us achieve these goals, we have become a member of the Green Business Bureau (http://www.gbb.org), and the Eco Chamber of Commerce (http://www.ecochamber.com). We have established an internal Green Team to manage the process and help us achieve our goals.
